Top 10 Diets of Japan…



There are so many different diets that people in Japan try. Some are your typical diet but some are pretty interesting. A nation that eats healthy, walks or bikes pretty much everywhere…now why would they feel as though they need to diet? Self image is VERY important in the Japanese culture for women and men. Not only do they want to look good but they want others to see them as uber perfect. But do they work? That is the real question.

Here are 10 diets that are buzzing in Japan…



1. The Tofu & Soybean Diet
-In this diet, tofu and soybeans are used as a substitute for rice and meat. Ladies have claimed to have lost weight by this diet. It makes sense, no carbs or meat just soy. As long as you like soy products, it’s a good idea.

2. The Diet Journal-For this diet, you keep a daily journal of meals, your weight, exercise and your goal. So far, it seems like a normal diary of your diet. But the key to this diet is writing down how you feel daily so that if you have a off day, you have motivation that is in your words. You can also have family members write words of encouragement in the journal to help you along the way.

3. The Cabbage Diet-Similar to the Tofu and Soybean Diet, dieters use shredded cabbage in place of rice. Also in between meals, the shredded cabbage can be eaten as a snack. The cabbage can be eaten raw or sauted.

4. Pelvis Exercise-Basically this form of diet is exercising your waistline. You can hula hoop, belly dance, or anything that concentrates on your tummy area. If you want a slimmer waistline, this may be for you!

5. Yoga and Breathing Exercise-Simple yoga and breathing exercises helped some sleep better, eat better and relieved a lot of daily stress. All these positive benefits to their life helped them lose weight.
